Our family cannot recommend Alisa, Jim and their team more highly. Our journey up to Petersburg still ranks as the best trip we’ve taken. The sights and experiences were breathtaking, the care taken in gathering our preferences was fun and easy, the meals were delicious - we were astounded by what Alisa was able to create - she is a true chef. We were able to completely relax with every need taken care of and yet each day brought a new discovery or adventure. Looking forward to when we can come back for our next visit.


Best experience on a yacht ever! Chef Alisa is not only an award-winning chef she absolutely knows how to provide wonderful hospitality. Captain Jim has grown up in Alaska and knows the environment and the sites like the back of his hand. The places you’ll go, the wildlife you’ll see and the culinary treats that we experienced with Chef Alisa and Captain Jim far exceeded our expectations.

I’ve commercially fished with Jim for a little over 30 years in S.E. & the Gulf of Alaska in all kinds of different conditions. I’ve always slept well when Jim had the wheel, knowing that he is capable & competent, & when he’s had his coffee in the morning, he is completely ready to take on the day with enthusiasm!


I took my family to Alaska for a private boat charter for two weeks. Food has always been the cornerstone of our travels. In the weeks leading up to our trip I had several conversations with Chef Alisa about menus and wine pairings. I have to say that my family has done some really extraordinary trips and this charter to Alaska is in our top three!!  Chef Alisa was so friendly, accommodating and so talented in her cooking. She absolutely made our trip a memorable one.

From the moment we stepped on to the yacht we knew we had made a great choice. It is a beautiful yacht with very luxurious accommodations. Chef Alisa’s gourmet meals were incredible & often with fish & crab we plucked right of the water. Captain Jim’s knowledge of SE Alaska was also incredible. Jim seemed to know the answer to every question we had. His many years on the water proved to be invaluable. Thank you for the trip of a lifetime. The memories will be with us forever.

I've been to SE Alaska several times and seen much of what it has to offer, but my recent vacation aboard The Dauntless blew me away. From the moment I saw the boat, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. Sailing through the Inside Passage, we were treated to a front-row seat to some of Mother Nature's finest treats – humpback whales, glaciers, sea lions, brown bears, bald eagles. If you're looking for an unforgettable Alaskan experience, look no further.

This was the most outstanding family trip! All ages from kids 9 ages 9 & 11, parents 40's and grandparents 70's had fun. The crew was absolutely wonderful in every way. Alisa's food was worthy of an upscale top restaurant and Jim's navigation of the boat and knowledge of the area was wonderful. Dauntless was a classy timeless boat that was comfortable and roomy. My kids loved the hot tub up top and also enjoyed interacting with the crew and helping on the boat. It was a family vacation to remember!

We were honored to take the maiden cruise on The Dauntless. It was amazing. Alisa and Jim completely tailored the experience to our family’s desires and went out of their way to give us everything we hoped to see and do. The Dauntless is beautifully appointed and we enjoyed amazing food and fun filled days. The perfect trip with our three teenagers. Everyone had their favorite activity which included the hiking, beach barbecue, kayaking, shrimping and crabbing and the polar plunge at the glacier.

Sad to leave this incredible boat. It was an amazing experience that exceeded our expectations. Every meal was prepared with the freshest and finest ingredients, and each displayed beautifully by chef Alisa. The crew made the trip exceptional, they were friendly accommodating, professional and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed their service as well as their company. Captain Jim went out of his way to ensure we had the most beautiful sights ever. We were all impressed with his attention to detail and hard work. The boat is incredible and we will recommend this adventure to all our friends.

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on the Alaska Bound Charter Alaskan cruise on the magnificent yacht Dauntless, and I must say it was an experience unlike any other. Not only did Chef Alisa's meals tantalize our taste buds, but they also perfectly complemented the breathtaking scenery that surrounded us. Enjoying a gourmet feast while taking in the awe-inspiring vistas of towering glaciers, pristine fjords, and abundant wildlife was an experience that will forever be etched in my memory.

Fabulous!! We had an awesome family vacation exploring the beauty of Alaska with Captain Jim, gourmet chef, Alisa, crew Susie and Mel. Jim’s competence as a captain and creating all the adventures was astounding. Alisa graced us with delicious gourmet meals each day. They engaged our granddaughters in all the activities and “Wonders”, they are telling us, “it was their best vacation ever”.

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience that we feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to enjoy with our family. We always knew we wanted to visit Alaska but were never sure "how" to do it. We felt like we couldn't see Alaska (the way we wanted to) from land and we weren't interested in a bigger cruise, so when we found this opportunity and they were happy to accommodate our family, we knew it was PERFECTION - and I can't tell you how perfect it was. Stop hesitating - book this trip now!

I would give ten stars if I could. The food was incredible, the service fantastic and the Alaska experience can’t be beat. We totally enjoyed all the animals, whales, sea lions, deer, bald eagles, etc. The crew of the Dauntless were at our beck and call all day. They anticipated all our needs and wants. Totally recommend the excursion!

We have been on many sailboat and yacht charters in most corners of the world, and I must say the location, the crew, the food, the activities, and the yacht itself were all at the top of the charts! Truly one of the most memorable weeks ever!
